Respite Care
Planned breaks for family caregivers.
Caring for a loved one is rewarding and exhausting. Respite care gives family caregivers time to rest, work, attend events or travel, knowing a trusted professional is there and following the family’s routines.
What’s included
- Cover for a few hours, overnight or several days
- The same routines, meals and activities your family uses
- A handover with the family before and after
- Care notes so nothing is missed
- The option to book the same caregiver each time
Often chosen for
- Parents of children with special needs
- Adult children caring for a parent
- Families needing cover during travel or events
Schedules
One-off bookings or regular planned breaks.
Caregiving, not clinical treatment
Our caregivers do not give injections, dress wounds, manage IV lines or change prescribed medication. If these are needed, your coordinator will help you arrange a licensed provider alongside CARELIA support.
