Recovery Care

Help at home after surgery, illness or a hospital discharge.

The first weeks after surgery or illness are when extra help matters most. Recovery care supports safe movement, rest and nutrition at home, following the guidance given by the treating doctor or physiotherapist.

What’s included

  • Mobility and transfer support
  • Help with bathing and toileting
  • Preparing meals suited to recovery
  • Reminders for medication and exercises
  • Watching for and reporting concerns to the family
  • Transport support to follow-up appointments

Often chosen for

  • After orthopaedic, abdominal or cardiac surgery
  • After a hospital admission
  • After childbirth complications, where a doctor recommends support

Schedules

Short-term care from a few days to several weeks.

Caregiving, not clinical treatment

Our caregivers do not give injections, dress wounds, manage IV lines or change prescribed medication. If these are needed, your coordinator will help you arrange a licensed provider alongside CARELIA support.

Tell us what is needed and a coordinator will be in touch, usually the same day.
