Hospital Care
A dependable companion at the bedside during a hospital stay.
When someone is admitted to hospital, families often cannot be at the bedside day and night. A CARELIA caregiver stays with your loved one, helps with comfort and hygiene, and keeps you informed. Caregivers support the ward team and never replace clinical staff.
What’s included
- Bedside company day or night
- Help with meals, fluids and hygiene
- Accompanying to tests and appointments within the hospital
- Collecting items and running errands for the patient
- Relaying updates between the family and ward staff
- Support on the day of discharge
Often chosen for
- Patients at King Faisal Hospital, CHUK, Rwanda Military Hospital and private clinics
- Families living outside Kigali or abroad
- Long admissions where family members need rest
Schedules
Night shifts are most requested. Day and 24-hour cover are available.
Caregiving, not clinical treatment
Our caregivers do not give injections, dress wounds, manage IV lines or change prescribed medication. If these are needed, your coordinator will help you arrange a licensed provider alongside CARELIA support.
